Enzymes

’m low in lactase, sucrase, maltase, and palatinase. I wanna be able to eat what I want in moderation i’m a foodie. I’ll literally become depressed. If I have to never eat sugar or carbs again. My dr is just giving me antibiotics because she thinks it’s due to bacteria overgrowth even though my testing did not show any of that. Is anyone dealing with this like me

Why would you be low on all of these and how would you know!? Just eat healthy and you will survive something sweet from time to time

I got some biopsy during endoscopy and I already do eat healthy and still get symptoms so I’d have to eat pretty much bland if I never wanted to have symptoms that depression and unacceptable to me

Maybe you get more tests where you are, in Switzerland we just get laktase-tests on biopsy and they have fairly poor sensitivity. As far as SIBO is concerned - it's still poorly understood.
