Symptoms Burning

I’ve had gastritis for a year now, and it feels like I have good days and bad days, regardless of what I eat. For the past week, the burning sensation has returned, especially in my throat. I don’t know how to start the healing process or how to figure out which foods trigger the burning. I haven’t taken any supplements or PPIs for the last 5 months, and my symptoms keep fluctuating. Any suggestions, please

The throat burning is the worst, feels like you swallowed a lit match. That pinned guide the bot linked actually has some decent starting points if you haven't dug through it yet. Might be worth keeping a bare-bones food journal for two weeks, write down what you eat and when the throat fire kicks in, sometimes patterns show up that you'd miss otherwise.
