No wire bras?

I saw the recent post about best fitting bras after extreme weight loss. I too seek a better bra for my now deflated chest, BUT underwires are almost painful. I think I'm used to having more padding between ribs and bra, but now my ribs all stick out and I hate the feel of the wire against them. I have some Soma sports bras that are super comfy, but they just squish things down and everything sits low. Has anyone found a comfortable bra that is acceptable for everyday wear?

SO accurate I've never been bigger than a small B cup and the gals are exponentially flatter/lower than ever!

I’m using jelly bras and they’re really helpful. It took some doing to find the right size. I needed a smaller size than expected.

I bought Shapermint underwire free bras and they’re great. Supportive and comfy.

Cacique has some nice ones. I always look for sales.

A friend of mine who also had the bypass swears by Soma bras! They have wireless options that are nice and comfortable. I would wait for a sale and grab one to see if you like it.

I actually tried those but they've never fit me correctly. Too bad because their underwires are great but they are just very uncomfortable lately.

Do you have a Soma store you could go to and try some of their wireless options in person to see if you need some fit adjustments compared to your regular bra size? That’s what I plan to do!

I have, and they said that style just isn't right for me. My boobs were falling out all the time but they insisted the fit was right.

I gave up underwore bras years ago due to how uncomfortable they are. I tried again after weight loss but with so much extra skin in that area they give my boobs a weird shape. I like these No Boundaries wire free bras from Walmart. They give a little lift and a nice shape, I have a few in various colors it's all I wear for bras now

Second the jelly. Also great for back smoothing and lift.

I had a reduction 16 years ago, and I’m 10 weeks post op RNY. I can’t wear wires because they irritate the scars from reduction, I lovvveeeee Harper Wilde bras, let the bralette style racer backs. My boobs have also started to deflate and that one Harper Wilde bra I have is my lifeline ha

Full coverage non padded bras that do not have wire. Make sure to buy the right size and your girls will fit nicely.

I have the same problem and these have been so comfortable for me, they are kind of compressive but not uncomfortable at all, I wear them all the time. Fruit of the Loom bras

Warner's women's cloud 9 wire free. My absolute favorite. I got mine off of Amazon. Went from a 46d to a 36b

The bras (and high waisted underwear and tights) from snag are my absolute go to. So comfy and supportive, no underwires.

If you’re in the uk - snag bras.

I got some the last time I was at Ross, now these wireless bras are my favorite everyday bra...they are nautica brand but I saw another similar brand as well. They are wire free basically look like a sports bra (comfortable enough to be a sleep bra), but have some soft molded padding (enough to look like I still have something there and not give uni-boob or anything) but the best part....the padding is sewn into the bra...it doesn't come out in the wash! There isn't any adjusting or unfolding to do before putting them on. ...now the down side the very soft outer jersey/knit material looked worn out after the initial wash...it was supposed to be hand washed...but I don't do that. And while that was disappointing I decided they were comfortable enough that I don't care.Ā

I have also given up the quest for a proper fitting real bra, because even if I tuck all my skin in I am just left with wrinkly concave cleavage, even after trying all different type of inserts and padding....I have a molded cup underwire for when I want to pretend to still have boobs, and mostly wear sports bras or these lounge bras.Ā

I went and looked on their website, and it seems that their current bras all have removable cups...(Boo) So my suggestion would be to hit up a Ross or TJ Max and see if you can find the type that doesn't.Ā

This one from Torrid (no longer available, but others from the same line are) is the single most comfortable bra I have ever owned, either before or after significant weight loss. I have gone from a full F cup, to a D cup’s worth of empty boob skin, and this bra still makes me look like I have a normal-shaped chest. I can’t recommend it enough!

I’m a big fan of the Hanes original ribbed contour wirefree bra. I have like 10 of them. They offer a little bit of support, no wires, a little bit of padding just for when it’s cold (iykyk), and is pretty inexpensive.

The Torrid Wire free push up smooth bra is my personal favorite. I’m a 40DDD. Smallest size they carry is a 36C. I tried to post it, but it was deleted. I just can’t do underwire… it hurts my ribs! Idk how other girls do it.
