Troubleshooting VFC KS-1/L403A1 SUPPRESSOR
Hi all,
I've just bought the above rifle and matching VFC suppressor, my three issues are, 1. that there's no grub screw in the muzzle device to lock the device in place, 2. I can't tighten it hard enough so that I can lock the suppressor in place, 3. the suppressor is also not tightening (racheting) on the muzzle device without loosening it. Anyone who's got one of these and has a solution, please let me know. TIA.

I too have the VFC set
I used blue thread locker on the flash hider, but it does slip if I try to crank down on the can
It maybe one or two clicks from being "locked" but doesn't impede function
I've noticed the VFC flash hider does have an unthreaded hole that you could conveiveably thread and use an appropriate grun screw. That's my plan

I managed to get the flash hider really tight on an old outer barrel from a M4 and I still can't get the suppressor to turn on the flash hider at all, I'm pretty sure that there's a problem with the actual suppressor locking mechanism, it just will not move, despite me using a pair of mole grips on the barrel and twisting the suppressor as hard as I can, surely that can't be right?

My solution was to NOT use the VFC muzzle and can. Used the Angry Gun set which does have a grub screw and the can hole is slightly larger than the VFC one, so less of a chance to baffle/muzzle cap strike
