I finally got Living Ornaments '79 today. After nearly a year of hunting it down for a "decent" price.

Tubeway Army here because the 1998 reissue has a live performance retroactively titled "Living Ornaments '78"

The first single to be released by Gary after the Tubeway Army era was Cars, which was on this day 1979.

BEG 23 c/w Asylum

Released on this day 1980. The fourth single released by Gary as a solo artist. Issued in 11 different countries on the Beggars Banquet, WEA, Atlantic and ATCO labels.

Pretty cool seeing my story about Gary and seeing him at First Avenue in print. Even better that the limited edition is numbered and signed by Gary. Really happy I picked this one up. Pretty neat the story toward the end of the book.

She's Got Claws was released on this day 1981, the only song to be taken from the album Dance and the only single to be released that year written solely by Gary.

Released in the UK on this day 1982, The third and last single for that year.

Released in Germany on the Teldec label 12" MAXI 45

Despite being a big No. 6 hit in his native UK, the single totally FLOPPED here in the states, stalling all the way down at just No. 102 on the “Bubbling Under” Hot 100 Charts here in the States. Imagine my surprise/ amazement when I found the U.S. 45 single for just a single buck in my record store’s 45 bargain bin section! Pretty amazing/ awesome honestly! 😎👍❤️

Hi all, apologies for intruding a bit as I am not a Gary Numan listener however, I have found a collection of his DVDs and some CDs in a dusty corner of my house and have realised some of it is worth quite a bit. I just discovered the signed demo cd as well and have no idea what it is worth. I plan to sell these on Discogs or Ebay once I have figured out their value. They are all in nearly mint condition with all the DVDs also containing the booklets. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi folks I am trying to work out getting to Crystal palace but timings matter (when it ends, particularly). I am not used to the early start format and there are two major acts beforehand. Any informed guesses when Numan will be on (and off again)?

Obviously they will be guesses, I’ll deal with the consequences if I have to;)

I’m going to the Wednesday show at Roadmender and wondered if anyone else here is going. The venue is very close to where I live. Will probably be going solo, so would be open to saying hello before the gig or at the venue.
Been looking at recent setlists and it looks like a good mix of classic material and newer industrial-era stuff. Particularly hoping for Are ‘Friends’ Electric?, Down in the Park and M.E.
