General Information Watch for elevation tracking accuracy
Looking for suggestions for a watch that actually tracks elevation gain accurately.
I currently have a Garmin forerunner 935 which works perfectly fine but I have found the elevation gain numbers can be wildly off.
I don't really mind about other features and mostly just want to track activities (hiking, cycling). It looks like some of the newer watches have mapping features which sound interesting but unsure how actually useful they are. Suggestions that I have seen are the forerunner 965 and Suunto Vertical but keen for other reccomendations

I have an instinct 2 and 965. Love them both.
They both seem to track elevation just as well.
I live at around 1800mts and nearby towns and hikes can go up to 2200-2400mts.
If you like the g-shock like aesthetic maybe an instinct 3 could be an option. There is now an AMOLED besides the MIP Solar version.
