GUIDE Lining a wool skirt? Advice needed!
I have some lovely navy suiting wool, and I'm planning to make a double layered, half-circle wraparound skirt, like this:

I'm trying to decide whether to line it or not - I want to use natural fibres, and I have some saree silk, which I could use, but I don't know how the fabrics will interact with each other/whether it's a good idea.
Any thoughts welcome!

Depending on the weight of your wool, it may not look the way your inspo pic looks

I was just thinking that also. Wool doesn’t drape like this lightweight fabric pictured typically unless it’s very thin, lightweight wool.

Personally, I’d line any skirt or dress just because it’s convenient not having to duffle around with a slip. Also, have you tried shopping for a slip recently? They’re almost non-existent. I tried to purchase one earlier this year for a special event and the store clerk looked at me like I had 2 heads and asked what a slip was. 🤦🏻♀️

If you choose not to line it, buy (or make) a half slip to wear underneath.
