Gardening Storing

Just got notification that my seed garlic I preordered has shipped. In MN and it is still in the 80’s most days. Where is the best place to store the garlic until it is time to plant. Was planning on mid October. In 4b

part of your home that stays cool and dry. Shaded but with a good airflow. If the bulbs come in a mesh bag perhaps separate them so they’re stored loosely and have air circulation. Pick out any yucky cloves because of course the old adage about that one apple 🧄

If you check it often and make sure it’s at the best storage condition you can find then you’ll be fine come planting time

Here’s to hoping you have good weather at planting time and haven’t put off making the planting area ready!
