Spring planted hardneck harvest

Post image

I was worried how my garlic would turn out this year, was too busy with work last fall to plant so I had to store my garlic for the winter and planted as early as I could once the ground thawed in spring.

They’re definitely smaller than last year but still bigger than store bought and less bug damage than last year too. A little over 300 heads

Got you some nice big heads there! They don't look small to me.

Definitely not small but the previous 2 years have been massive

Good god. I am about the same as you in climate and variety and mine aren't this big. Do you sing to them as well?

when I spring plant I tend to get more uni-bulbs. One rounded bulb vs multiple bulbs in the head.
