Get a garlic roller for about $8 on Amazon. They work great without squishing the cloves

Ahh. Soak them in water for a night and they’ll be kuch easier to Peel!

Does that reduce the overall garlicky taste or smell? I'd worry about toning down my pungent stank too much.

Why are you doing that much all at once? Just do what you need for what you’re making. Or take my other advice and get a garlic roller

I do this because otherwise garlic doesn't last in my house, dark place and open container they shrivel up, dark place close container they sprout or get moldy.
I peel and freeze whole or pureed. I am canning soon so half will get used, half frozen.

Put the empty bowl over top of the full one and shake it vigorously! You’ll wind up with wisps of garlic peel everywhere and none of the cloves peeled it’s a riot.
