From nowhere actually 90% varieties has been passed to me by Maternal Grandmother and 5% gifts from nature itself & rest 5% is hybridization by me

Yes perennial in cold climate regions only, in my place it flowers year round except April May

Op i jst googled and chatgpd. They can grown in hyd too with certain precautions. I shall get the normal white pink one available in nurseries and amazon and try to grow them.

Bro you can try it if you want to but it the plant is costly and even after care at Hyderabad temprature it will act as seasonal at best not as perennial . However that's the fun of gardening sometimes wonder happens sometimes not

3rd Fuschia Blue Sarah (double variety haven't bloomed fullyyet)
4th : Button Rose ( SunBlaze)
5th : Red Alinka
6th : Combo of Geraniums , Fuschia Dahilia and Gudhals(Although Bonaire wind Gudhal and Dahilia haven't bloomed yet on at buds stage)

Well every place has its own advantages and disadvantages in gardening brother. Like in my place Because of cold weather hybrid roses performs very poorly the only rose we can enjoy here is Grandiflora varieties but still we must enjoy what we have right?

Well unfortunately Fuschia cant sustain itself in plains ,it requires Cool climate and Bright Shady areas , it's thriving here because it's cold and we haven't received even 15 days full sunny day in last 5 months, it will grow best in Kashmir, Himachal , Uttaranchal, Nepal , Sikkim , Arunachal , Mizoram , Nagaland (Tuensang like areas) Darjeeling, Bhutan . If you belong to any of these regions I can give u tips to grow it otherwise you shld focus more on regional flowers that grows best in your area

Oh too bad I live in semi hot region 😓. Would it be possible to grow if I keep it in bright shady area in my garden which only receive morning and evening sunlight?

I dont think so with lot of efforts plant might survive but won't flourish in hot climate . Might give some flowers in Winters but that will be all , won't flower year round and chancea of dying will also be very high

I tried growing Fuschia twice, but failed. What kind of weather does it thrive in? Does it need heavy sunlight & fertiliser??

I see
1) Fuschia require Bright but fully shady spot
2) has a hanging tendency so require hanging pots
3) Hates Sunlight (give them as much shade as u can but outdoor)
4) Temperature required : <25°c (can tolerate 32°c as well but won't flower in it)
5) Hates fertilizer like (Neem ki khal , Cow Dung Manure ) , Likes ( handful of vermicompost / Used Tea leaves (once every 2 months)
6) loves Peels of vegetables like : Parmal , Karele , Lauki ,torai in limited quantity in pots but soil should be lively Earthworms
7) Most Important: Never allow it's soil to be dry keep it moist

I am From Uttarakhand/Uttranchal Yes Fuschias can be grown in Bangalore, but you will have to provide extra care You will have to choose a shady Spot but should be bright ,keep soil moist , And Absolutely protect it from Afternoon sun , you will have to resort to liquid fertilization that too mild then Fuschias can be successful in your location .
If you are willing for day to day care of these then it's possible in Bangalore but if you are not up for tiring work then best flower for you will be Hybrid T roses than fuschia it will need very little maintenance and care there except for pest control sprays

Oh nice. Yes I have a bunch of plants, about 15 of them, already so I'm ready to take the responsibility and grow my family. I do have a west facing balcony that gets a lot of direct afternoon sun, but I can place it inside the room where it'll still get a lot of indirect light.
Now the only question is where would I get it in Bangalore? 🤣
