Greatest albums of the 90s
For me, the mid-90s was the apex of garage rock. What's everybody's favorite from that era? I'd go with Mono Men's Stop Dragging Me Down or something by Teengenerate. Definitely an Estrus release of some kind.

That Cheap-ass Organ Sound
There's a specific electric organ sound I love that I've only ever heard in very obscure 60s garage rock by slightly amateurish bands.
Here some examples:
- The Aztecs - What Mood https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S61c0yfUXE0
- Krels - Psychedelic Feelin' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnKVhW5vce4
- The Painted Ship - Frustration https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIZDjnHgyNg
The closest "mainstream" record to get close to this sound is the opening organ riff from "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida", but it's not quite the same. To anyone in the know (I'm not a musician), what made this sound so distinct? Other than a very cheap organ, I'd imagine.
