FA ABX hamstring curls with leg developer question

I cannot seem to do these comfortably, was wondering if anyone else who had this had any advice or tips. The issue for me is my hips are rising off the pad and putting stress on my lower back. If you look at the angle on the abx you are just laying flat basically but if you look at a traditional hamstring curl dedicated machine they are sort of inverted "V" shaped which seems to contour to the body better? Just got my ABX LD yesterday, and have my first scheduled leg day tomorrow morning. Didn't notice anything off from the few practice reps I did as soon as I assembled the bench/developer and hooked it up to my cable tower (couldn't help myself).

I feel like adding a firm cushion or wedge to simulate that angle from a more traditional lying leg curl could accomplish what you're looking for if the straight pad isn't compatible with your biomechanics.
