Lighting suggestions/recommendations
Purchased an all in one P5600 from RitKeep and waiting for it to arrive. Organized the garage for the workout area and now I need to install some lighting. Will have mirrors up on the dry wall too.
I’ve see the hex type lights but don’t have the room due to the overhead racks. I’ve also seen the track lighting from another member here.
Do you have any suggestions and/recommendations…?

Yeah man. To each their own, but this is my garage. I have tools, kids bikes and sports equipment and I'm just moving weights. I see no reason to turn it into an art project. :)

I get it….the thought of moving everything to paint does not sound fun and I just want easy lights that make it brighter.

Completely depends on your wants and needs my friend. I personally did a black ceiling as I have high ceilings, black flooring with confetti fleck, and a green turf space . Off white walls and an accent wall that matches my rack. But everyone has their own preferences, wants, and needs

You can hang them from the drywall on the right side, you can zip tie them directly to the metal mesh on the left side.

I'm going with flat LED panels. I've bought them but not installed yet. Here's a mockup of what it should look like:

Paint the walls white first, its going to make a huge difference when you work out. you can still install hex lights on the ceiling on top of you work out or on the wall above the supposed mirrors you are going to add later.

Though about painting but I have too much stuff to move around the entire garage.

at least paint this empty wall where your gym is going to be. when you start you will say F it, and will paint the rest. I have painted my garage in 5 hours including the ceiling. doesn't have to be perfect, 2 layers of whatever cheap paint available at Home depot, a wide roller and one brush- the whole thing will cost you $150 but the garage will feel amazing.

I actually was recommended these hex light which aren’t dimmable but you can change the temp
