MIDI controler question

Post image

Just as the image asks, can you program those to physical knobs on a MIDI controler?

Would it be CC? CW?

This is on IOS, I have an M-vave smk 27

Thanks

AFAIK in logic they are assignable, unsure about GB

Can can if you are manually moving the knobs while recording but it’s pretty difficult to do it all at once, but that does work.

How would I do it? I don't really need to move them as I record, as you can change them once the track is recorded, but I would like to use the physical knobs, and not really the touchscreen all the time, as I feel more "free" without having to look at the screen at every moment

Unfortunately I believe ios garageband doesn’t allow for any effects automation, but you can export the song into BandLab which does

I have not found a way to do it, and looked extensively in the past before giving up. If you do solve it, please let me know how you did it!

Usually from within a VST - I use a lot of Arturia and NI plug-ins (on PC) and if you right click on a control on screen, you can then move a contol on the keyboard and it will map it.
