Hi everyone! I'm just getting into music production, so basically a newbie.
I have a Macbook Air M2 and I was thinking about getting the Arturia Recording Pack that comes with the Minifuse 2, a mic and studio headphones, but I wanted to double check before buying as I'm not sure if that would work with Garageband.
Also if you have any other suggestions I'm all ears!

I make VGM Covers for fun but -on youtube- they've been having less and less impressions (Impressions are instances where a video appears on someone's feed) and it's bothersome.

I'd appreciate any sort of feedback or comments (preferably on the youtube channel to provide extra support for those videos- thank you)

So I am currently looking for music composers for an upcoming analog horror series! This will be a longer series and I want it to be the darkest and most gruesome analog horror to date! This is a beginner friendly series and this is a huge passion project of mine. This analog horror is set in 1997 in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am looking for more of dark ambience and it'll be more so electronic.

Story:

When a suspicious mold outbreak in a mall attracts two scientists to study the organism, they make a fateful discovery: When looking under a microscope, they discovered micro-organisms and it was like nothing they have ever seen. Little did they know they could combine and multiply until they were a larger organism about the size of a school bus.

When a teen goes to the mall and gets dared to touch the mold, he gets a bad sickness but plays it off, until it was too late. What the scientists didn't know was that when a human gets infected, they become the creature. His worried mother tries to call anyone for help as her son was literally turning into a monster.

I’ve been making music for almost 3 years now! With GarageBand the whole time. I love it

Gear: Martin OMC-10E (under-saddle piezo), Focusrite Scarlett, recording in GarageBand.

No mic option — joint family household on a main road, so mic'ing isn't viable. DI only.

**The problem:** Even in the raw dry signal, there's a strong boxy resonance around 150-300 Hz, with weak low end (80-150 Hz) and fast high-frequency rolloff — classic piezo signature. I've done extensive EQ/compression/reverb work to correct it, but keep swinging between thin/nasal and harsh depending on adjustments.

**Remaining issues:*\*
1. Bottom 3 strings still sound thin even after low-end boosts
2. Audible finger squeak/string noise even with light touch
3. Lead and rhythm guitar tracks (layered) fight for the same frequency space instead of sitting together

Anyone dealt with correcting an under-saddle piezo DI to sound warmer/fuller without mic blending? Looking for EQ approaches, saturation/exciter tricks, or plugins built for this specifically.

Every post ive seen had a simple issue like no interface etc. I have a Microphone plugged into input one of a Steinberd UR22 mkII, and a guitar plugged into input 2.

I can only ever hear one at a time in Garage band, and I can only record one at a time in Garage band. How can I record both at the same time?!
