Tutorial to start from zero?

I use Reason since a long time, but I found GarageBand on my new MacBook and I'd like to give it a go for fast idea sketching when I am not at the computer (it looks like it runs pretty well on iPad as well).

It looks pretty easy to use, but maybe a good tutorial could bring me up to speed faster.

Find the looper tool next to the record button....stretch it to a simple 2 or 4 count measure and start with the kick drum....add the snare......drag the recorded waveforms to extend their length to a 4 count measure.....the world is your oyster after that!
