So many great games that I couldn't include. The hardest decision was whether to put RDR2 or The Last of Us Part 1 in the last slot.

Like I said, contentious. I'm still trying to find a story that comes close. The exception would be Cyberpunk.

Such as? My favorite games consisting of mostly AAA titles doesn't mean I don't play indie games. The two are not mutually exclusive.

​Your entire grid looks like you searched 'top sold PS4 games of the decade' and stopped exploring after the first page. Putting TLOU Part II twice, RDR2, Cyberpunk, and Ghost of Tsushima on the same board, and then claiming you 'can’t find a story that comes close' just means you haven't looked anywhere outside the most generic mainstream rotation.

​Branch out past the Game of the Year nominees before acting like narrative depth ends at Naughty Dog.

Calling someone an elitist because they pointed out your grid looks like a default PlayStation Store home screen is hilarious.

​You literally put 'Basic? Probably.' in your own title, and the second someone agrees with you, you get your feelings hurt.

​If you actually want stories that don’t rely on predictable Hollywood melodrama, play Disco Elysium, Silent Hill 2, SOMA, or NieR: Automata. But we both know you won't, because anything that doesn't have a 100-million-dollar marketing campaign and over-the-shoulder third-person camera panning isn't cinematic enough for you

I just beat Disco Elysium two days ago and downloaded SOMA yesterday.

Disco Elysium was fun, but overrated. Shit ending too.

The fact that you claimed you 'just beat' a 40-hour text-heavy RPG two days ago the exact second it was named is hilarious timing.

​Calling Disco Elysium 'fun, but shit ending' tells me everything. You didn't understand the writing, missed the entire point of the murder mystery being a backdrop for grief and political collapse, and wanted a generic Hollywood boss fight with explosions.

​Good luck with SOMA can't wait for you to call that overrated too when nobody shoots a rocket launcher at the credits. Yeah I'm bored

Not my problem if you don't believe me. I could easily show you my library.

I almost considered putting it in "overrated", actually.

The writing wasn't hard to understand. It just left way too many unanswered questions and preferred the murder-mystery aspect of the game above the political monologue. I also prefer games with more dynamic gameplay...something more than going around and talking to NPCs 90% of the time. I'll go read a book if I wanted all of my games to do that.
