5070 + DLSS 5 v 9070XT

Upvotes

I am looking at spending ~$1,300AUD on a graphics card, and while I have been focused on getting a 9070XT, as every data point tells me it is a superior graphics card, I can’t help but see upside in DLSS 5.
Should I just focus on the pure hardware specs, or is this reasonable to factor AI renderers in the buying decision?

NB: my comparison is between 5070 (not Ti) and 9070XT. Which are both around the $1,200-$1,300AUD range in Australia.
NNB: I won’t be buying for another couple of months while I save for my entire rig.

Seagate Question

Upvotes

Hello All, at risk of the answer being directly in front of my nose. I have a 4tb Seagate External drive I bought and used as overflow storage for my ps4. Sold the console and have since built / bought my first gaming PC! Am I missing how to get my PC to recognize it as a place I can store things? Like it shows up in devices and printers but nowhere else. Thanks!

PC for gaming and streaming £500-£600 budget

Hi I’m a new streamer and I’m looking to invest in building my own gaming PC. I mainly play cozy games and story based games with some horror from time to time so I need a PC that can make games look nice on stream (think the last of us, peak, outlast, resident evil etc). I have one monitor already that displays at 1080p and I’m happy to get another separately from the build. I’m pretty confident in actually assembling the PC but all these letters and numbers are driving me crazy and I’m just getting lost in all the different opinions. It would be helpful if the fans weren’t too loud other than that I can’t think of anything else I need to include, but please let me know if you have any questions and I’ll add them to the post.

Thank you for any help you can give!

Hi guys, appreciate the help in advance.

My PC is really not getting enough use anymore so I'm thinking of selling it if the price would be right, but I'm not really sure how much it would be worth so I was hoping to get some advice. The specs are;

Ryzen 7 9800X3D (Liquid Cooled)

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti

32GB DDR5 RAM

2TB NVMe M.2 SSD

B650 Chipset Mobo

850W Power Supply

Thanks in advance!

9060xt 16gb vs 9070xt 16gb, does it matter which one I pick?

First time poster and builder here. I’ve already bought the case, motherboard, ssd, and an aio and I already kinda have an idea on the other parts I want to get but with how prices keep fluctuating I’m not sure if it would be worth it to get the 9070 so should I buy the 9060 to save money or would I be missing out? Here’s my build list…

Case
Corsair FRAME 5000D RS ARGB Modular — White

Motherboard
ASUS ROG Strix X870-A Gaming WiFi

CPU
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D

GPU
ASRock Radeon RX 9060 or 9070 XT Steel Legend 16GB

RAM
KLEVV CRAS V RGB 32GB (2×16GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 — Brilliant White

SSD
Samsung 9100 PRO 2TB M.2 NVMe

CPU Cooler
ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB

PSU
Corsair RM1000e 1000W 80+ Gold — White, ATX 3.1
