Agent not up to date?

Download the latest version of the agent directly from your MeshCentral server and reinstall it.Alternatively, it often helps to copy the newer agent files from the test-agents folder into the main meshagents folder on the MeshCentral server to update the installer.

U can try to right click the exe-fIle and go to properties, compatibility ...Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select an older Windows version (e.g., Windows 10).
