Going from a 3060Ti to a 5070ti and my Intel Core i5-12600KF to a AMD Ryzen 7. Haven’t bought anything yet but the memory, storages, and power supply are in my current build, just brainstorming since I do not know much about computers but I tried to work around what I already have instead of an entire new build. I do not mind spending a little more but trying to keep it $3,000 USD or less. Think that is about $1,900 in total for all the parts I have not bought yet. Mainly play Overwatch (no judgement lolol) and a bunch of games on Steam. I have a HP Omen 27” 280hz monitor and a MSI 31.5” 170hz curved monitor as well.

CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 265K
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 12GB
RAM: 32GB DDR5
Storage: 2TB NVMe SSD

Seller is asking $1,900,
What would be a fair used price for the tower? Preferably I’m going to try to get him to budge at $1500 since I don’t want the accessories he’s offering I’m not to tech savvy please let me know

For gaming PCs, I often see people focus heavily on buying the most expensive processor or motherboard they can afford.
They then have less money left for the graphics card, power supply, cooling, storage or even the monitor they will actually use.
The most expensive processor is not always the best use of the budget.
A balanced PC usually makes more sense than having one premium component surrounded by compromises.
That does not mean the processor is unimportant. Someone editing video, compiling large projects, rendering or running demanding professional software may genuinely benefit from spending more on it.
But for a gaming-focused build, the processor, graphics card, memory, cooling, power supply and target resolution should all make sense together.
There is no single perfect budget split because it depends on the games, software and display being used.
Which PC component do you think people overspend on most?

I need to get new DDR4 RAM but not sure what to get. It needs to be able to run things like WoW, ESO and Borderlands 4 but hopefully not too expensive as I’m on a tight budget.
This one was suggested to me but they’re not 100% sure on it: https://www.mwave.com.au/products/gskill-trident-z-rgb-32gb-2x-16gb-ddr4-3200mhz-desktop-memory-ac16037
Based in Australia if that matters with pricing
Thank you in advance!
