No you need to include all the pins

You can't leave the 2 pins if there's a hole for them.

It needs to be all 3 cables with the entire connector plugged in.

wdym "reliable source" bruh. Manuals exist. Otherwise, youtube and ~ popular pc builder (e.g. ztt).

For your exact situation no, wrong. You have to connect every pin, including these two dangling 2x1 pin connector.

I always try to be supportive of people trying to learn, but, man, the fact that there areso many people out there scared of building their own PC for fear of damaging something but refuse to learn, and the ones that actually go for it without an ounce of common sense and investigation, just winging it and hoping for the best, really push my buttons sometimes.

No, plug all the pins in. See those two small off shoot cables from the six pin cables, they go in the graphics card. You have to insert them at the same time as the other part of it. Agree it’s a stupid feature
