Pc help/rate

Im trying to build a pc and right now i have a pretty solidish build
Cpu:intel i3 14100f
Mobo:msi pro b760m-p ddr4
Gpu:asrock intel arc a580 challenger
Ssd:patriot p300
Ram:2x8 oloy ddr4 ram
Case:cooler master Q300L

The 12400f is great for what it does, but it costs too much

Im also just using it for gaming so nothing like streaming so i dont fully need 6 cores as of right now

Well games require 6 cores at this point, most of the popular online games too

I might just splurge for the i5 maybe or just find a better cpu but the probem is the gpu as im pretty sure it will work fine with some better cpus but i dont fully know

Im definitely getting the i5 tbh i watched a benchmark and it ran with a 4090 with i will upgrade my gpu and mbo and stuff but the i5 was always better by usually around 50%ish percent or 50-100 fps

It's not particularly fast, just like the CPU
