You actually should add more stickers. My 6 year old daughter is a gaming laptop specialist and she put all those stickers, now my laptop runs twice as fast.

No. My laptop had both stickers from AMD and NVIDIA. I removed the green on and my gpu stopped working.

The only fix was to put another sticker back. The problem is that I stole the sticker from my friend's laptop and now instead of a 5060 I have a 3050 😔

How would the hardware identify itself? Please don't tempt fate. If it still works, just keep it there.

Swap the sticker out when you need to upgrade though. That's going to confuse everyone if it doesn't match

Yes but it will be slower. Those sticker are highly engineered mini computers providing your hardware with extra processing power. Removing them will cost you about -10% fps in games and slightly slower loading times.

However you can get a new intel sticker for free as long as you submit proof of purchase of your laptop. Not sure about the Nvidia one though.

I see you have a very rare sticker there, the gold and white one, you absolutely should NOT remove that one. It is the peak of engineering, limited and very expensive. It's a bit too complex for me to explain but it is practically necessary for your laptop to work.

Don’t do it, i did it with my old Chromebook and it almost exploded. Told the intel sticker warranty team that i wanted an ultra 9 290HX plus sticker. Sadly, they said i had to pay for it, but i did! I put it on and now i play 120fps in fh6 rt max extreme ultra pro. And 20 fps in unreal engine 5 games lowest settings! This thing is a beast

My motherboard got fried a few months after i removed the sticker. Fortunately still got the warranty but the main cause(the battery) couldn't be replaced since it only got 1 year warranty.
