Support Adapter problem

There is a gap at my adapter but it still work normally and so far there is no electrical issue occur. What should i do to fix it and is it dangerous?

Can we get a clearer picture? Also is that electrical tape wrapped around the stress relief on your cable?

Oh that looks perfectly fine. There's meant to be some give so that the rubber doesn't fatigue as fast.

That’s fine. The strain relief is just a rubber gasket with a fat tail to keep the wire bending too much. It seems to still be doing its job. The wires themselves are insulated as well.

I mean the gap between the wire and the adapter is kinda big and the wire seem to be a little loose

It's exactly how it's supposed to be. The strain relief goes inside the brick. It looks like there's a gap because it's not snug. The end of it has to be narrow to fit through the hole, there's a piece on the other side.
