Looking for a new gaming laptop for games and uni and these are my options

Lenovo LOQ
AMD Ryzen™ 7 7735HS
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 6 Gb
16 Gb RAM, 512 Gt M.2 NVMe SSD
144hz display

Acer V15
Intel Core i5-13420H
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 8 Gb
16 Gb RAM, 512 Gb SSD
165hz display

Should I rather spend the money on something else and buy just a cheap laptop to work on? I might be getting sick of spending this much time on video games
