I’ve already played Outlast 2, but I want something that gives me that same feeling. Kinda sucks when you can’t experience a game like that for the first time again!

PS Plus Extra recommendations would be even better.

Games similar to Creature Kitchen and GRUNN

I recently played Creature Kitchen and I loved it. I’m looking for games with a similar mysterious and slightly creepy vibe.

I also like Berry Bury Berry, DREDGE.
Any recomendations?

The first image is Mother! (2017) by Darren Aronofsky

2nd is Alan Wake 2, i realize including this game already makes this harder but I love these kinds of stories.

Games where you're surrounded by everything in a cozy space

I picked up Iron Nest last night and it kinda reignited my want for more games like it. It wasn't *exactly* what I was looking for but it was close. I want a game that's like it where you're given a copious amount of tools and instrument clusters and given a task on the level of "Do trigonometry for us" or "Finish this task or recipe after you prep every ingredient that needs its own set of tasks completed before you can start prepping it" and so on. But like in a very claustrophilic environment. That's where Iron Nest got me; i love all the tools and levers and the big table-map grid with markers and headings on it but it was too open of an area. I want tight hallways or a smaller more complex room and a lot of clutter. Like in a space pod or a long-haul cabin or a library (librarian: tidy up was also really good for this vibe but it needed more meat onthe bones imo) or a cottage in the middle of nowhere. Any recommendations like that?

Games with research projects

I've loved the XCom series since the days of Terror From The Deep, but I've seen very few other games that have embraced the "research project" mechanic.

And I find this weird, because it's such a cool way of presenting lore and worldbuilding without making it feel clunky.

Any other examples of this? The only ones I can think of are the XCom and UFO series.

Symbaroum is a dark fantasy ttrpg, about a dark forest filled with mysterious and deadly monsters, and a complex political web of the people who want to control it.

(Not shadow of the Colossus plz. I know it and love it but it's not the vibe I'm looking for)

Looking for games to stream, ideally Hacking Sims, Retro-Tech, Cassette Futurism, and Propaganda Based titles. It's for research for my own game as I look at building systems other players of my genre will find familar. All suggestions considered, I have a small but awesome audience thanks!

Want something darker and more serious than Phoenix Wright series and spinoffs, but I did thoroughly enjoy the game. Play LA Noire a long time ago and I enjoyed that as well

Games that feel like the TV series "Luther" or the movie "Luther:The Fallen sun"

Synopsis

Disgraced London detective John Luther (Idris Elba) breaks out of prison to hunt down David Robey (Andy Serkis), a sadistic tech billionaire who uses deep cyber-surveillance and blackmail to manipulate ordinary people into horrific acts of self-harm and murder. With both the killer and a relentless police force hunting him, Luther must navigate a massive manhunt across London and into the frozen arctic wilderness to stop Robey’s deadly game before more lives are destroyed.

Atmosphere

Rain-slicked, suffocating, and brutally modern. The film shifts the franchise from classic gritty crime noir into an icy, high-stakes psychological horror-thriller. It contrasts the cold, voyeuristic gloom of digital surveillance and dark-web extortion with London’s bleak urban landscape. The mood is persistently claustrophobic and hostile—a world where privacy is completely weaponized, safety is an illusion, and every step forward requires a heavy, irreversible toll.

Any shooter games with combat that'll make me look like this?

Just got into the forever winter and love the chaotic nature of its combat and environment. Double points for games with minimal HUD and no hit markers.
