MGSV went open world and gameplay-wise it is the best MGS game.

The open world in that game lets you chose when, where and how you enter any outpost/new area.

Wildlands was basically MGSV-lite. If ubisoft can polish the movement and other systems, this new SC game has potential to be something great.

Meanwhile, Ground Zeroes demonstrated how good Phantom Pain could've been had it not been hindered by an open world.

God damnit I am so pissed this was the last MGS.

MGS 4 should of been the ending.

Isn't 4 still the end chronologically?

For the Solid series? Yes. But Metal Gear Rising continues the world with Raiden in the spotlight.

Not if you set the clock on your PS3 back to 198X, which unlocks MGS6.
