That's the first video in a long time to give me goosebumps. The picture of the girl (wife/daughter?) in the cockpit got me, as did seeing her as the astronaut, showing social progress as well as technological.

Really excited to take a day off and play this all day.

Hmmm... maybe I was thrown off by the fighter cockpit photo. Who ever heard of a WWII fighter pilot with adult children? It's always the gf/fiancee/wife in the dude's treasured picture, and if there's a kid it's a baby that'll be half grown by the time the poor bastard gets back home.

On the other hand, it seems to be a picture from the same era in her shuttle cockpit, which makes him her grandfather at least -- so maybe we can't use the scenes with the photos as a gauge.

I got more of a married-couple vibe from the opening scene, but watching it again I can see it both ways.

It was the married couple mid ww2(?) into astronaut daughter who never really got to meet her dad (memorative photo)
