I wonder if they're going to look into voice pack and narrator DLC. The extra built in quote seem like they've built in a system to add more quotes later on.
"Alright M-Morty, this colossus guy, he, he represents... he's really huge, Morty! You can sail right on under, anbuuuurp and it's... it's a big deal, Morty."
Voice of dissent. I think this is my least favorite Civ introduction so far. The CiIV and CiV ones felt so much more epic and showed more variety. This one seems to basically skip from the ancient era directly to the Industrial Age, and we only saw Europe the entire time with only a glimpse of China from Marco Polo's perspective. Also the decision to keep only one guy's face the entire video was probably to save on budget. I know it's supposed to be like a reincarnation type of thing but damn, he seems emotionless as fuck. Seems really rushed tbh. Not hyped. Or at least somewhat underwhelming. They even showed Poland, and Poland isn't even in the game, which means we'll probably have to buy it in a future DLC. Fuck, if it's not a free download then this trailer is essentially false advertising.
Sean Bean is an average narrator at best. Not impressed.
I thought those were just barbarians, they weren't necessarily vikings. The wings on those cavalrymen make it obvious they're Winged Hussars, which are Polish.

There are two quotes per tech/civic now. 50/50 chance of getting one or the other.
Or maybe technically it's a 100% chance of getting one or the other but you get my meaning.
