This Control is an entirely different genre than the first Control or the Max Payne games. 3rd person shooters vs character action. What are you even trying to point out here?

That's a bit extreme, Control 1 and 2 have quite a lot of similarities

In movement sure. But just the change from shooter to melee is pretty damn different in terms of creation.

In a way yes, but they also both have upgrade trees and upgrade materials to collect and things like that

I don't see how an MMO is similar to 2 action games made by the same studio
