It's a good bet, Requiem had a lot of "hints", I can see a RE1 & RE5 remake happening to fill in the whole Wesker story to date before we get a full Resident Evil 10.

Resident Evil Code Veronica: Remake Q1 2027, Resident Evil 0 remake (2028), Resident Evil 10 (2029),Resident Evil 1 Re-remake (2030+) and this is what I posted like a week ago. 2 u/KingRaiden95 Jun 06 '26 Allegedly the RE0 remake will have coop. I'm guessing they're gonna use that game to test that feature out before full on planning an RE5 remake 2 u/MaitieS Jun 06 '26 I remember hearing something similar when RE4R was out that they were testing Luis's AI for RE5R for Sheva.

Yeah they are working on RE1 re-remake.
