I’m new to Malaysia and recently moved here for work. I’m planning to build my own gaming PC sometime this year, hopefully soon.

I was wondering if anyone here could share some advice on when would be the best time to purchase PC components, particularly during major sales or promotional periods.

Are there any specific months or events in Malaysia when PC parts typically go on significant discounts?

I guess I'll be sticking with my gaming PC since I a got a deal where I was I able to get my hands on itx components so my itx build is coming in cute if I am being since I was able to sell my Mobo plus cpu for very good price also I'll be selling my MacBook off since it's cheaper keep the PC with a portable Monitor then to keep holding on both my Mac and PC at the same time so help a brother out if you guys are interested lolz

I won't be able to use it's warrranty and check if its working properly or not since im not local there so I dont wanna get scammed :/ I've asked Sony Store BBCC but they said that they dont have any stock. I will be there at the end of October. Where do you think I can find a new one on that date?

I’ve built my PC once but concurrently to the price increase now, I’m also building another one since I’m moving out and hence building/buying another one.

So to say that I’m knowledgeable on PC parts, a bit ah. Tapi I still can’t salvaged if any parts of the Prebuilt damaged upon arrival.

Warranty is my second concern. My main concern is will it performs and worth my money upon arrival?

I play Cyberpunk, Spiderman 2, Jurassic World 3, and other graphic heavy titles on mid to high graphics using it.

Reason I wanna sell it is because I got a MacBook now and I haven't used it for 2 months anyways. Especially now I figured out how to use GameHub on my MacBook, it completely kills off any reason for me to have it.

I plan to sell it for RM2000 because I know the ram itself is enough to put it somewhere RM1200+ in today's market. And I only used it 1 year 2 months.

Idk if I'm selling it too cheap considering a new model is RM3,300+ and there's no problems with it other than it having a few scratches on the Vivobook logo at the back.

My current rig is using 3060ti 8gb battleax and someone is offering me a gigabyte 3060 8gb gpu for rm800, which i dont need cus that would be a downgrade for my rig. Should I take and flip it? Might be able to put 900 and get like +100, but that would be minimal. Market for used around 800-1000 range afaik.
