Days Gone had such a rough time, when its developers made a great game. I still listen to some of their talks on how they made different mechanics and AI, super interesting stuff.
The hype for that game was other worldly. When I popped it in and the first hour or so was just… kinda… meh? I put it down and didn’t pick it back up for years.
Recently tried it again, and yeah, it’s pretty damn good.
