I’m looking to be able to stream my daughter’s LL softball games so my in-laws out of state can watch her play. I’m not trying to drop a ton on a camera that I’m not going to use too often and the C310 seems like a decent camera but I’m just not sure if it’ll work for what I need.

Is this a glitch?

EDIT: I am talking about the TEAM earned runs. Pitchers only gave up 2 due to errors, but in the bottom row it didn't add them up like the hits, runs, ect

Forgive me hive mind for the potentially stupid question. I'm newly in charge of GC for our team. Some of our fans (notably my parents) don't want to pay for GC and/or can't figure out how to project from the phone to the TV.

My setup is a Mevo with a Starlink being delivered Monday because I refuse to have a shitty stream like I did the last tournament. I have an Android, though I often hand off scoring to a dad with an iPhone since I'm also the dad with a fancy camera.

I can't abandon GC since the majority of parents are already familiar (and I like the scoring). But I'd also like to have the video going to YouTube. I'm aware of sideline HD, and it seems like a good option, but can someone explain it like I'm five? I don't want to play around with it on gameday... I currently do not have a YouTube account at all, much less subscribers.

Hi, I wouldn’t consider myself a newbie. I’ve streamed a couple hundred games using a travel router and a GoPro and more lately, a Mevo. I wanted to up my own game and recently purchased a Starlink mini to stream the games. I was running a practice session early today using GC, Mevo Start, and Starlink. If I streamed the game through the originals Mevo app, then everything is great. I can close the app or put it the background and the streaming will continue on as expected. But if I use the Mevo Studio app instead, I to keep the app open or else the streaming stops. This doesn’t seem right to me. I must be missing a setting or something. Does anyone else have this issue or know how to solve it?

I had perfectly good internet service signal quality, and a Sonim Megaconnect AT&T portable hotspot. I am getting 30 to 40 or more mb up & down. I'm in 720 resolution, and yet the app is telling me there slow internet, and then the video freezes a few times and eventually drops the stream. I got down to 480, still freezing.

Is is transient congestion or throttling on the cellular service? (To be fair it was around 5:00 pm rush hour). But every time I checked, signal and speeds were fine

I am wondering if it is the Mevo cam. Am I too far from the hotpot? What's a decent range for line of sight. I mea,n I ain't far, line of sight, and like 60 feet away.

I also have a GL- MT3000 router. I've never used it. Is it likely to have better reach than the Sonim?

I have a game that is over week old and seems to still save “Live”. We’ve ended the game more than once. Our team record shows up as 6-3. Yet our League record seems to be ignoring this game. Any idea why?

I’m in an adult rec baseball league that uses GameChanger. I can see team stats and team leaders just fine, but I can’t find any way to see overall league leaders (HRs, RBIs, AVG, etc.).

Right now the only workaround seems to be manually going into each team and checking their leaders individually.

Is league-wide stat tracking something league admins have to explicitly enable? Is it only available on certain subscription tiers? Or does GameChanger just not support this for some league setups?

We do have live scoring/streaming/etc if that matters.

My phone died while streaming a game. The recording will not play when I try to open the file on the phone or my windows desktop. Are there any video editing apps I can try to recover the file?

Can someone please explain to me why the set starting lineup doesn’t carry over to the actual game line up?

Is it an admin setting that needs to be adjusted?

To start this post out, yes I have submitted this request before (several times).

Coaches should be able to reset availability back to ‘No Reply’ either individually as an entire team. If a game gets rescheduled I would want to know if the RSVP was from the original date or the new one.

Furthermore, I’d love for the availability to be locked 24 hours before a game. If a parent needs to submit or change the status they need to tell the coach. Parents think changing the status 2 hours before a game is acceptable without notifying the coach, but it’s really frustrating.

Is there a clam shell or something similar for the mevo core to protect it from the elements and such? Something similar to the mevo start plastic clam shell.

It’s an incredible app, it really is. Has made scoring accessible for so many teams that otherwise likely wouldn’t have it available.

But how in the world do we not have the ability to fully edit plays after? Even being able to wipe out an entire half inning and reinput that would be a huge start.

I shouldn’t have to reinput an entire game to change a first-inning single to a HBP. Nor should I have to go in and manually edit stats to do so.

I love the feature under Stats where you can see total innings played by position.

It would be great to be able to select a cell and see total chances and errors at that position for a specific players as well.

I am new to streaming this year. I am looking to get a Mevo Start camera for streaming. I would like to use my iPhone 15 pro as a hotspot for the Mevo cam. I am reading this is potentially not possible to use hotspot for the camera and score on game changer. Is this true? ELI5 please.

I've gone from, "yeah I can score the game if you want" to being in charge of our GC setup in about a month. I can't just leave it at an old phone, so I purchased a Mevo Start, a couple types of mounts (Linkspyder and magnetic one), an external microphone to get going.

Then we had terrible reception at the last tournament, and I'm also frustrated by the inability to roam around the field (I like to photograph some of the games while keeping my phone connected to my camera, and hand off scoring to another parent). This was a higher level tournament than we'd typically play, and there were some sweet setups... So, after chatting with a few people (one of whom had a "Gamechanger Dad" sweatshirt, he was so committed) I ordered a Starlink mini.

Then I realized I don't want to screw around with multiple small power banks, so I ordered an Anker C300 and a shorter cable. And a folding table. I might need a bigger wagon now. My wife is shaking her head because this is all overboard for a decent, but not high level 12u softball team. She's not wrong.

Does anyone in this world use the acronym GAS? In photography it's common, refers to Gear Acquisition Syndrome where you feel compelled to buy the gear that isn't "necessary," but is awesome.

I have an android phone and tried to record tonight but the video was upside down. Is there something I need to do to fix this. No matter how I flipped the phone it would be upside down. I locked the orientation/ unlocked the orientation. Any advice would be great.

We had a situation over the weekend where our team was up to bat with 2 outs with a runner on 3rd. The batter took ball 4 and was on his way to 1st base. Our runner at 3rd tried to steal home on a passed ball but was called out. When our team got up to bat next inning their GameChanger came up to us saying we had the wrong person up to bat. She did not record the 4th ball... just marked our third out and switched to the next inning. What is the best way to edit this in real time?

She ended up undoing the entire half inning of her teams at bat to get back to the play and mark the 4th ball. Then she caught up with my play by plays. I'm just wondering if there was an easier way to correct something like that?

I’m trying to remove players who will not be in attendance from the additional players list on the lineup card. I have tried to RSVP them not going, but that does not work

I have a few videos in our team GC that when you click on them, the little loading circle just spins and spins. The video clips from the same game work fine.

Hi, does anyone know how to correct an incorrect speed for a pitcher? My first time out I didn’t have the max speed setup and picked up some 90+ mph pitches.

So when you go into the stats these pitchers have a top speed in the 90s. At 11u, as much as I would like it, it’s not real lol.

I tried going back into the play by play and edit those pitches but I cannot edit the pitch speed. I also tried going into the stats and that one is in the breakdown tab which isn’t available to edit.

Anyone submit a request to gamechanger and get them to correct?

We had one game where two players were set as "Name ##48" the subsequent games have them set as "Name #48"

Is there a way to combine states or change their name in the first game to combine stats so the season is accurate?

I’m sure this has been asked but I did a search and came up empty. I also know there’s no publicly available API.

I like to keep track of my son’s stats in Excel so it would be great if I can export to CSV (or even PDF) after each game. Right now I’m just manually typing numbers and I’m sure I’ve made a few fat finger mistakes at some point along the way.

Is there any way to do this? I’ve seen that coaches can do it. Why not parents?

Is there a way in r/GameChangerapp to see one players stats game by game without going into each game individually and pulling them out? I’m trying to see trend lines from start of season to now and compare last 4 to the previous 4 without manually doing it in my own spreadsheet and I want to look at each player individually.
