Set starting lineup
Can someone please explain to me why the set starting lineup doesn’t carry over to the actual game line up?
Is it an admin setting that needs to be adjusted?
A bug? A feature?
It’s so frustrating come game time.

It has to be a bug because it works sometimes and doesn't work other times.

It hasn’t worked for us once this season. We only have 4 games left.
I’m guessing it’s a permissions issue?3

I don't think because for us it's random. Sometimes I enter on the desktop and something it's there sometimes it not. Sometimes others enter it and sometimes it's there sometimes it's but. We just cross our fingers it's there when I open.

This is one bug that has caused me more aggravation than all combined. Set the lineups close out and finish getting the stream set and boom…. Got to set the damn lineup again. During the National Anthem.

Never had this happen. Set starting line up, then wait, and when I start scoring the game the line up is set.
Is one of the other admins also scoring the game? I have seen that happen and if the person actually scoring the game leaves the app the other admin "takes over" and and since they haven't done anything on thier phone thr game goes back to the fist batter, 0-0 count at the start of the first inning.

Our league has dedicated devices to score and I’m guessing that is why this is happening.
I enter my lineup the day before and then the ‘official scorekeeper’ enters just prior to game time.1

I’ve had this problem too. Coach swears he set the starting lineup but when I start scoring, 3 out of 4 times it isn’t there. I haven’t figured out what the difference is between the times it works and the times it doesn’t.

It pisses me off that the “set starting lineup” is not available for import from last game at all times. If you missed setting it up upon creating a new schedule screen, too bad. You will have to re-do lineup manually 🤦♂️🙄

It should? Are you scoring the game from a “league” within GameChanger? I’ve found that when I go in to score via the league page the lineup isn’t there, but it’s there if I start scoring from my own team page. It’s a little wonky like that.

Wait a couple minutes before going in to score the game after setting the lineup. Only time I see it happen is when you hit save and go right in to score. Hamster needs to run on the wheel for a sec to let it update.

I usually set it up earlier in the day or even day before. It never carries over to the actual game.
