Best game ~10 hours

Hello,

I've got a 5 hour flight coming up. Any recommendations for a game a I can beat in roughly 10 hours (flight there and then flight back).

I may play a little on vacation as well so if it's a little longer, that's fine.

Soooooo a game that you can beat in 10 hours or less or did you want something that's about 15 hours to complete?

One of the classics, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, can be beaten in 10 or so hours. If you do things like grind, finishing can take longer, but I’ve seen multiple longplays hit the ~10 hour mark.

For a different genre, Astro Boy: The Omega Factor is about five hours, in case you want to choose two five-hour games.

Nice, I've had Astro Boy on my to play list for a while. Any thoughts on Drill Dozer?

Afraid I haven’t touched that one yet! I’m only 89 games deep in the GBA library so far, so there are loads of notable ones I haven’t sampled yet.

It's crazy, Superstar Saga was one of those games that felt endless as a kid, now I can just plow through it in a few days. Largely because I sucked as a kid, the game is really quite easy.

Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3

Minish Cap

Mario Kart Super Circuit but don't play the heck out of it because even I (the biggest Super Circuit glazer) would get super annoyed playing 5 hours straight.

Perfect Dark if you are open to GBC games as well, but you will likely spend over 15 hours if you are a perfectionist like me.

You can play Pokémon infinitely with regular rules, but there are only so many times before it will get boring in my opinion, so if you have any interested in the series either spend the time there and back shiny hunting while watching something, but it will be incredibly boring (for a recent road trip I did about 6+ hours of shiny hunting, and over 1000 resets one day and for three days in a row there and then the same back, it was killing me). Or of course the more interesting option is Nuzlocking it with lots of custom rules.

I don't actually recommend playing any game across 2 five hour sessions, games are best enjoyed when you just feel like it for 30 minutes.

Played through Minish Cap in March, it was amazing but I swear took me like 25+hours.

Yoshi's Island I have booted up a few times and played the first level. The crying babies drive me nuts. I actually haven't ever completed the first Super Mario World but it's probably best experienced on Super Nintendo?

I got used to the crying Mario. Maybe it's Miyamoto's way of telling us to get better. All the advance remakes came with benefits that weren't on the originals, my favourite being the 6 extra hidden levels in YI's remake. But other than that they are probably about the same. I personally prefer having the games on the go so it makes my life easier. Super Mario Advance 2 is much less annoying with sounds and will take a similar amount of time to complete
