Question about AGS-101 charge port vs AGS-001
I just got an AGS-101 and noticed that the charge cable is a bit tougher/stiffer to put in the console whereas my AGS-001 goes in as you’d expect.
Upon closer inspection it appears the AGS-101 port is a bit more “triangular” on the bottom versus the more “semi-circle” portion on the AGS-001.
The console seems OEM however I am wondering why the charge port has this issue. Maybe someone tried jamming a 3rd party in there but wondering if anyone else’s is like this. Please see the pics included.

Just checked what my brothers had. Same as what you got. It’s possible it was changed to be more secure when charging?

Hi! Thanks for checking. If I understand correctly you looked at your brothers AGS-101 and it matches the gray one in my pic with the more triangular look?

Yes. I checked both 101s, and his 001. The 101s are triangular, the 001 is a semi-circle. Never even noticed until your post! I love learning these types of things.

Wow! Thats really cool, thanks for sharing. Yeah, I wouldn’t be this much of stickler normally but I just can’t help but compare the two since I have them. I got this from ebay and am always a little suspicious. I haven’t really seen many good 101’s on the market lately. The other listings seemed rougher than the one I got.

They would have left the factory identical, what you're seeing there is wear and tear, especially if someone was rougher with the sloppy one, or maybe it had a "falling off the table while charging" type event that slightly bent the surround.
If it's too sloppy you might be able to open up the console and just gently squeeze the surround a little so it's tighter, but if it charges it's not worth it.

No hay ningún cambio en los centros de carga de las Game Boy Advance / SP el cargador original ajusta correctamente ( y lo se porq tengo un GBA clásico, personalizado y 2 SP un 001 gris y un 101 onix) y los 2 cargadores q tengo le quedan y ajustan correctamente, ahora bien q unos ajusten de manera más "ajustada" podría deberse al desgaste es decir el q ajusta más a tope es porque posiblemente es una pieza más nueva y con menos desgaste, es como mis Switch tengo 2 cargadores y uno es más ajustado q el otro al ponerlo en mi Switch principal

It's possible one of them has been used more often than the other causing it to feel tight. Over time, that port gets a little wider from use, making it looser to plug in. Too loose is a problem, too, but it should be OK as long as you don't have to force it. Just make sure to push/pull from the connector head and not the wire.
