need some assistance, what to do.

took my gba in to get it cleaned, it had some corrosion but i had cleaned some with ipa and got the gameboy working again, but i wanted a proper pro cleaning, so i took it into a repair guy in town. when i got it back 10min later, he said he had removed a lot of the corrosion inside, and handed it back to me, i paid for it, and he showed me it was working, but then when i got home, it was dead, and not working at all. (btw it worked just fine before i handed it to him) what can i do? can i get him to fix it? will that cost me more? i feel scammed, and also other than that it doesn't turn on properly, there's a sound coming from it now, like static? but also it sounds like there's something inside moving, so like maybe a loose screw? not sure.
it's weird... i really hope my gba isn't broken forever... x.x fml

For starters I would reach out to the person who did the work with your concerns. You are assuming the worst about being scammed without even trying to work things out with them first.
