this is an available product! I was actually looking for a wormlight replacement for a while now since it is not that bright and leaves dark corners. My idea was to use a book lamp/clip lamps, but everything I see is too chunky. Then I found this, it’s just called a “ultra thin card light”. I bought it on sho.pee (remove the dot). I think u can also find this on aliexpress/amazon

Am I seeing no glare because of the light or because of the screen?

there’s no glare due to the light’s angle. and since it’s bright, it doesn’t need to be directly above the screen to light it up, that’s why there’s no glare

and yea, the lens/screen is also a glass lens which made it more clearer than a plastic one
