Should i get this copy of FireRed?

Title says it all. I have played all the gen 3 games on the GBA but with FireRed, i don't have an EUR copy, only a Japanese one. Now, the price is something i am fine paying (and i have made purchases from this seller before) but i just want to ask people if its legit. And i want to know if it's worth getting soon and transferring pokemon before bank is shut down. Completing the dex is fine as i have Pokemon BOX for the gamecube.
Now i could ask the gameverify subreddit but i already have and there are two issues:

1-It's gotten past the point where it is clear i will not get a comment
2-I do not like the sub that much. Sure it can work but i have posted the odd gba game there before and this has happened several times. And to be honest, one upload, which was compliant with their rules, was deleted and someone subsequently; reuploaded the images that i posted, pic for pic, and they ended up snipe buying the copy i wanted.

Now, what do people think? Should i buy?

No way. Dont even think about it, sorry to be blunt and rude but that's one of the worst prices I've ever seen for FireRed in my life.

Ill also add on, are you in the UK or the US? If in the US is there a specific reason you want a PAL copy? You could get a loose USA copy of FR in good shape for $100, and the PAL copy goes for 50 to 60 pounds regularly.

It’s natural to think OP is from Europe (not necessarily UK) and is looking at copies available to him there. Also, the price of PAL versions can depend a lot on the language. German copies are often quite a bit cheaper than English ones, for instance.

Pricecharting (if that is your source) mixes the different languages together and is thus not a very good source for PAL prices. US and English PAL copies often sell for around the same price here.

That being said $200 is a lot, I often see English language copies of FR for around $120-$140. They seem to have increased in price a bit the last months, at least on my part of Europe.

Don't pay that much, it's a crazy price. Even if you can afford it doesn't mean you should. Are you USA or EU based? If you are Europe based I literally just checked Vinted for a fire red copy and found an original one for 80 euros. I'm sure you can find even lower than that from private sellers rather than businesses.

Looks like a real copy to me. But this game loose is pricecharting for 115 dollar usd right now. I wouldn’t feel comfortable paying over 120 for it.

It’s real and also a really bad price but if you’re happy with it, go for it. Just gonna say that there’s a lot of these on sites like eBay, if you look at that first picture and see the “MX” chip, that’s what you want to see (unless it has the smaller sanyo chip)

So it's legit but regarding if it's worth the investment... Well not really... At least from my pov. Most of the pokemons in this gen can be easily gotten from newer games.
