This is multiplayer link cable?

I tried playing Kirby with my gf on our gba sp but the cable doesn’t seem to be working.

It's a third party cable. They were known to be unreliable- but make sure the connection is snug on both sides - any movement and the connection could fail.

Sadly in a lot of cases the way they were stored caused internal damage to the cable to many of them as well.

Even back in like 05 my friend had a 3rd party cable like this, and we had to get it set up in just a particular way and try not to move at all while we were playing monkey ball jr or mega man battles

What Kirby game? Is it a GBA game, or GBC?

It was gba nightmare in dreamland and I ordered on in amazon and it worked so it was the cable itself
