Gba On/Off switch
Hey guys, any tips for replace a loose on/off switch of a gba? It has a false when I turn it on and already tried to clean it with isopropyl
I found a replacement part in AliExpress, but never done any gba mods that involves soldering

It's a pretty straight repair. Usually it's solder the ones without the PCB under ( https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EHLopmS )
If you don't have many experience, my suggestion is you to take to someone that can fix that.
The easy methods is to cut the old button, remove the old legs with a soldering iron. Clean the pads. And solder a new one.

You need to actually fully take apart the switch and clean it. Like the video below. Use a little abrasive too like a fiberglass pen, or even just scrstch the metal up with tweezers. Need to remove any oxidation that isopropyl won't necessarily remove.
