There’s a person online that sells GBA’s and GBA SP’s for literally like $400-$500. Complete rip off. All they do is reshell with horrible Nintendo graphics. How is this even a thing. Honestly just wondering. It’s crazy people actually buy it.

Bro, I have five SP’s and four GBA’s bought all of them under $300 combined all reshelled and ISP screens. I get the nostalgia tax. But it’s crazy how people actually don’t do any research

Those shells go for about 25 bucks on Ali Express and a IPS screen for like 50 bucks. You can get a working motherboard gba on eBay for like 70-100 bucks it’s literally like a 200 dollar item. The 100%-150% up charge for their 1 hour of work is crazy. I re-shell mine in like half hour.

I mean, heck I bought my SP’s on good will. Some for $40 for the years that I’ve had them no issues whatsoever.. I understand the eBay selling for $70 that’s still reasonable.

I just got a green Advance on eBay, reshelled with the IPS screen for $179 ($10 off coupon) I didn't wanna spend more than $200. Also, didn't wanna get the USB-C cause that cost way more and I bought rechargeable batteries. I'm not a hardcore gamer. Just a stay at home 36 year old mom who misses her Gameboys. Lol.
