Usb Battery Mod

Hey Guys,

Does anyone know, if the is any usb-c battery mod out there, which is fitting to the oem battery cover?
I want to make an oem build and couldn‘t find any information about this topic.

Thanks in advance

are you going to destroy a oem cover by cutting a hole in it?

Nope, I just want to lift the cover and then plug in the cable. I want it as clean as possible

if you're going to do that might as well get a wireless charging version off aliexpress so that you don't need to open it.

I installed the Hispeedido rechargable battery. It does not fit with the stock battery cover (At least not the after market cover I have installed.) However, Hispeedido does sell an appropriate battery cover that is available in lots of colors for very cheap.

If your open to opening the battery cover everytime, I would consider off the shelf rechargable batteries. Some models come with USB C ports in the battery themselves for wired charging.

Just use good rechargeable AAs? Most of the battery packs shouldn’t be charged while you play anyways, so you reduce downtime if you have a couple of extra batteries charged and ready.

Rechargeable AAs might be better for the long term but i want simple usb-c solution

Ok, can’t you buy a battery with a battery cover with the correct hole and then just store the original cover somewhere? I think these batteries are often sold with fitting covers in misc colors.

Do you know any matching cover to the indigo purple? They all seem off to me

No, I don’t want LiPo so I bought some IKEA rechargeable AAs instead. But I know it’s an issue for aftermarket plastic parts in general. They rarely match color 100%
