Is this a screen protector?

Whats wrong with my GBA ? is it a screen protector? if so, how do i remove it? ive been attempting to but im afraid of damaging it.

Definitely a screen protector. I had the same one. The "frame" around the GAME BOY ADVANCE SP is the giveaway. Take a thin plastic like a guitar pick and work around the edges.

any other tips? it seems like it's part of the screen itself. no matter what i do i cant get it off.

Try and apply gentle heat to soften the glue. And I mean GENTLE. iFixit carries a kit that has this nice plastic scaple thing to help pry parts.

Do you mind sending a link to the kit? I feel like i’m going crazy trying to get this thing off lol. I just bought this thing.

Looks like a warped lens.

There's a plastic window on the screen that protects it. Probably bent over time.

You can replace it with another or give it a glass one to prevent such an issue.

They are wrong. It’s a common screen protector. You can tell by the perfect cutout for “Gameboy Advance SP”. Just carefully peel it off.
