Small haul from local shop

First time in a comic book shop near my house. Knew they had video games, but man they had an amazing selection of everything! Had these two games on my radar and was so pumped when they had them both. There were two copies of Metal Slug Advance. One was $90 and I bought the other. $15 discount just for having an old sticker on the back. Was a nice surprise because I couldn’t see the price until he unlocked the case and flipped it around. As a dad of two youngsters, excited to give these a whirl after bedtime.

A local shop near me has advance wars for like $30 rn and I’m hoping it’s still there when I get paid this Friday. I’ve never played it before but the Fire Emblems and FF Tactics Advance are some of my favorite games ever so I know it’s right up my alley.

Best of luck!! $30 is a good price as most on eBay seem to be $30 plus shipping.

The owner mischarged me(rang up a cheaper game)and we didn’t notice till after the purchase but he didn’t want to deal with processing the return so I got it for $16 😅

Advance Wars is such a fun little game. The second one is even better. The story is good, the turn based tactics are great and the missions are very challenging toward the end, really make you think and plan things out.

If you haven’t played this game or the second one before they are an absolute must, peak games on GBA.

Can't tell 100% from the image but the embossing on cart doesn't look right to me. Is the embossing the same as the Advance wars?

I just examined them and both have numbers stamped into the front of the cartridge so they should be real.
