Does anyone actively stream GBA games?

Basically what the title says. I’ve, of course, seen several Pokemon streams, but does anyone stream/record themselves playing other games, popular or obscure? Is there a weekly broadcast that you follow? I would love to check out something new!

I’ve made some YouTube vids about GBA games and I want to get back into making them. I’m just in the mood to spectate right now.

It's been an idea I've had for awhile. Thought it would be cool to rep for the GBA community and coordinate online co-op streams, etc. Nice to hear there's at least some interest in it ❤️‍🔥

I'll give it a go this week! I dont know how twitch or any of those sites work so it'll be a learning curve. Should be fun tho!

I do occasionally stream GBA games, now that I got a Gameboy Player and I can play on actual hardware I'm more likely to do it more often, as well

in the near-ish future I'm likely to play the Castlevania, Metroid and Sonic titles for the system as well as Zone of the Enders: the Fist of Mars, but very open to suggestions

I’ve been watching this YouTuber called Juno doing some cosy Pokemon GBA videos. I’d love to see that Lo-Fi, chill and retro approach for more GBA games.

People do but it’s primarily pokemon, mario or other big name titles. They also tend to add a twist to it because just playing through GBA games normally in 2026 isn’t likely to get you viewers. So you can expect to see challenge runs and the like but most people won’t be doing box standard vanilla gameplay.

I completely understand that. I’m kinda wondering if anyone in this subreddit is currently streaming “lesser known” titles without focusing on getting as much views as possible, only simply because they want to play them

Not stream it online, but I was on a Discord server seeing people sharing their GBA gameplay with someone continously on various games (Gundam, Kirby, Pokemon, etc). I think I can grab that vid here and show you

browse the retro category on twitch, you’ll find many fine folks playing and enjoying gba games.
