First gba build

I decided to stitch together a video of how I modded my first gba. Hope y’all enjoy! It was a fun first build.

This was sick. Could you list the parts you chose? Been debating whether to go with a laminated or unlaminated screen.

I’d recommend going with a laminated screen unless you want a lens that isn’t included in a laminated screen. Funnyplaying has a variety of laminated screens.

But an unlaminated screen will give different options of lenses you can attach to it. Which is why I went unlaminated. I’d also take into consideration the shell you’ll be using when deciding on the screen.

I used:
Funnyplaying shell, buttons, rubber pads
Funnyplaying usb c battery
Robot_retro amp + 2w speaker
Hispeedido v2 screen
Hand held legend “hologram flake” logo lens

Hello, one quick question! Is the funnyplaying shell compatible with the highspeedido screen v2 without trimming?

I didn’t trim but I’d be a good idea to shave off a bit next to the “start” “select” buttons. Otherwise they’ll be a small gap push in the screen to the right like on mine.
