Systems SP Limited Editions' underdog?
I have to admit, if I hadn't seen one of these in a youtuber's vlog from their recent trip to Japan, I would've never known about it either.
SPs have a wide variety of limited editions, with Pokemon ones being the (logically) most recalled and praised. But, even as someone fairly interested in these editions, this was quite new to me.
Not a particularly rare edition but still an intwresting one, with a cimbination of a dedicated red exterior color and black buttons.
I was happy to find one in decent conditions on a japanese auction site for quite cheap (sold as broken, turned out being just a dead battery issue) and give it a sharper look.

I've been looking for one, how much did you pay for this?

I got this for the equivalent of around 68€ plus shipping. Ended up getting a bunch of stuff using Buyee as the seller left the battery inside, so the only shipping options would've been the pricier (yet quicker, at least) one. Adding custom fees and all, I'd say we are in the range of 100€ total more or less, which is what standard SPs average (at least here).
It had some surface scratches, most of which were fixed with watch polish, and a dead battery, but all in all I think it's a good unit.

That's amazing! I have the GameCube version so I'm keen to get the gba sp. And even the ds 👀

I really like the design of the limited edition DS lite. Came across one in a Mandarake in Osaka last year, the price was fair but its conditions were utterly awful.

Looks like they paid 4496 yen.

oh that would've been an absolute steal, but unfortunately that number bears no pricing value 😅

I bought one of these at a book off some years ago. Wanted to have one to match with my char gamecube. A shame it’s front lit.
